Free Things to do in Penticton, BC This Weekend
Float in the Channel. One of the most popular activities here is relaxing while floating down Penticton Channel. Just make sure to wear plenty of sunscreens as you spend hours swimming and relaxing.
Check out Penticton Farmer’s Market. Open Saturdays from April 23rd to October 29th on Main Street. Come check out the variety of delicious food and unique souvenirs between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Soak up some culture. Penticton is proud to offer a variety of free music and shows. This summer we will host many free concerts and festivals.
Go hiking. The KVR Trail, accessible from Vancouver Place, is a very easy to manage hike for the whole family. Enjoy the beautiful nature, watch out for wildlife, and check out all the boats on the water.
Visit the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory. This attraction is open year round and gives you the opportunity to explore on your own. It is the largest radio observatory that studies radio signals in space.
